About the Service

Nation-wide volunteer speakers bureau that offers a platform for veterans and Canadian Forces members to share their stories of military service at school and community events. We receive over 1000 requests every year for speakers at schools, youth groups, and other community events across the country and connect them with a local speaker from our volunteer community. By becoming a speaker, you are joining a diverse community of veterans and Canadian Forces members who are committed to sharing their stories of service. As a speaker you have the ability to give a face and voice to historical events through your experiences and create connections with members of your community. While the majority of Memory Project visit requests occur in the fall, the speakers bureau operates year-round and requests are received and filled on an ongoing basis.
